These two projects sat on the publishing back burner for a while, especially while I was figuring other things out. And while I’ve been writing so much, of course.
But I’m tickled to finally have my first Large Print and hardcover editions available!
Our primary page layout software, Vellum, added options for Large Print and Mass Market editions, and the first one I experimented with was Wicked Bone.
I like the Mass Market format so much that I decided to use it for all of my short stories.

Large Print is a format I’ve wanted to offer from the beginning, and I’ll definitely be adding this option to all my books over time. I’m especially excited about being able to offer Large Print books to libraries.
Then getting our books into a new print distributor gave me the option of formatting hardcover books, so I jumped right in with Fantastic Women: A Dark Fantasy Novella Trio.
I’ll be adding more hardcovers over time for sure as well. In fact, a lot of the Large Print editions I’m planning for libraries will work a lot better in that format, especially longer novels.

And yes, I have to say the options available to indie authors and publishers are amazing and growing every single day!
