In what’s become a delightful winter holiday tradition, I have a story in WMG Publishing’s Holiday Spectacular! This time around, the sweet holiday romance of The Most Impressive Courage of a Little Tortie Cat features not only two people who need to get together, but two sweet kitties who help make it happen.
I’m absolutely delighted to have a story featured in the wonderful WMG Holiday Spectacular for the fifth year in a row! “The Most Impressive Courage of a Little Tortie Cat” revisits the fabulous Hidden Springs Inn and Spa, and features not one but two of the inn’s magical cats.
I’m delighted to share my second contribution to this year’s Holiday Spectacular from WMG Publishing with The Copper Valley Cocoa Conniption Competition. In case you want to celebrate along with me and everyone in the little Appalachian town of Copper Valley, December 13 is National Cocoa Day!
One important thing you’ll learn in this cozy mystery is hot cocoa isn’t the same as hot chocolate. For cocoa, you start with cocoa powder rather than melting chocolate. After that, the only limit to the flavors you create is your own imagination and the ingredients you have on hand.
Of course you want to make sure you know what’s in all the ingredients you work with. Leaving such things to chance can lead to…unexpected results.
Welcome to the last day of 2021, and get ready for a trip back to the final hours of the last millennium!
I’m delighted to share my contribution to this year’s Holiday Spectacular from WMG Publishing with Sometimes Strange Magic Casts the Best Spell. You may remember the setting from The Magic Cat of the Hidden Springs Inn and Spa and The Inn, the Black Cat, and Two Halves of the Same Heart, both featured in past Holiday Spectaculars.
This time we visit 1999, which those of us who’ve been around long enough to remember it know was a very strange time indeed. Especially those of us who worked in the IT field.
You can read Sometimes Strange Magic Casts the Best Spell free on this site until January 3rd, with my warm wishes for a Happy New Year in 2022!
And my deepest, most sincere hope that we all experience a whole lot less strange over the next twelve months and into the future.
I hope this finds you well and enjoying the December holidays, no matter how you celebrate them (or not). If reading is on your list for this strange in-between week, or if you have a reader in your life, there’s still time to pick up the wonderful Holiday Collections StoryBundle!
You’ll get seventy-two (yep, 72) holiday-themed short stories by a group of amazing writers. And both the excellent Annie Reed and I are offering bonus collections of holiday shorts, so you can get even more escapes for the incredible low price of $15. My collection is actually an anthology my husband Jason A. Adams and I put together called Uncommon Holidays: A Different Side of the Season.
And even though the major gift-giving days has passed for many people, this is a great chance to make the readers in your life happy. You can also donate to AbleGamers, a charity dedicated to creating connection where it’s needed most, at a time when so many people need it.
But this amazing StoryBundle ends one day before December and 2021 do, so check it out before time runs out!
You still have time for a fantastic last-minute gift of reading with the Holiday Collection StoryBundle! For only $15, you’ll get 72 holiday-themed short stories from some of the best writers working today, and across all kinds of genres.
And if you’re ready for a nice escape from holiday madness yourself, that’s all kinds of wonderful reading breaks for one at a time, a day curled up with your favorite holiday treats, or anytime you need a bit of the holiday spirit all year long.
In that same holiday spirit, my husband Jason A. Adams and I are about to publish a brand new holiday anthology of our own. And we’re offering it for free to folks who purchase the Holiday Collection StoryBundle! Read on for more, and pick up your copy today!
