Local-ish folks, Jason A. Adams and I will be out and about for the holidays! We’re launching The Occasional Bookstore right here in St. Paul, Virginia, based at the Mountain Heritage Museum and Gallery.
These dates are a perfect chance to shop local with us and other great small businesses around town!

(An update from Spiral Publishing that I couldn’t be happier about! For the first time, I have more pre-orders for my Voices through Time novella Walking the Ghosts in Large Print than standard.)
With our Large Print editions selling well over the summer, we decided to make that format available for all of our novellas, novels, and collections (when possible, more on that later). We’re delighted to have this format available for anyone who needs or just wants it.

I’ll be at the Russell County Public Library in Lebanon from 10 to 3. Jason will be at the Arts Depot in Abingdon for a kid-themed day from 10-2.
Speaking of November, Jason and I are part of a wonderful holiday-themed project that will feature 35 short stories by some of our favorite writers and good friends! And these range from sweet holiday romances to moving winter holiday tales all the way to bloody holiday mysteries, so no matter your own feelings about this time of year, we’ve got you covered.
I’m taking my turn as featured storyteller over at The Infinite Bard with Sensing the Storm! This free story is a prequel to my Storms of Future Past series, featuring one character who’s already in the series and another who stars in an upcoming novella (and possibly more).
